The Powassan Ride was the ninth ride of the season for the West Nipissing ATV Club.
There were 14 ATVs and 4 Side-by-Sides with a total of 21 riders, plus one dog in attendance.
Under a cloudy sky and a cool 0 degrees C, and with snow flurries on and off, we left from the parking lot at 9:45 a.m.
The trails had lots of water and were covered with leaves giving us a little bit of a challenge.
We stopped at Pascal Lake for lunch and then continued on along the trail to two more lakes. Then it was onward to the first Look-Out where we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of fall.
Next, we continued to Look-Out #2 to enjoy an even better view of fall scenery!
The group continued on down the trail leading back to our vehicles. We arrived back at the parking area by 3:00 p.m.
The total ride was rated as a 3.5 and everyone had a good day. All returned satisfied and smiling!
